Dylan has always been creative and adventurous, whether it be building go karts to race down the steepest hill he could find as a child or rock climbing around the world.
His working life started with some work experience while at college building the Via Ferrata extreme at Honister Slate Mine hanging on a rope with snow and ice all around.
Dylan started his life as a welder fabricator doing structural steel work for climbing walls and high ropes courses nearly a decade ago. He then moved to a company building plant to pressure treat timber and then finally, before starting Glenview Steel he worked at a local black smiths working on a range of agricultural and architectural pieces of metal work.
Glenview Steel started in May 2020 when Dylan got bored whilst on furlough.
Glenview Steel is run by Dylan and his wife Abbie but they have a team of people who assist in different parts of the business. The 2 you are most likely to meet are Mark and Jack who help when a job requires 2 or more people.
